The silleteros are bearers of an ancestral tradition that consists of carrying silletas decorated with flowers. This practice, which originated in the Andean region, is now recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Nation. In Envigado, the villages of Pantanillo and Perico are the heart of this tradition, where silletas are crafted for the Flower Festival and the Silletera Route.
